My name is Abdullah Birdsong…it’s super great to meet you!
If you’re new here, let me sum up what this site is designed to help you do: it’s designed to help you thrive in life and leadership. Simply put, I’m here to help you Believe, Become, and Be Well.™
If you’re like most, you have the desire, drive, and the heart to live and lead well. But, you constantly battle obstacles that hold you back: like managing your time, your team or even yourself. Do you have the necessary tools to lead yourself and others effectively? If not, no shame. That’s what I’m here for.
I’ve endured a lot as a leader, experienced the repercussions of mistakes I’ve made, and felt the emotional toll of disappointment and discouragement.
However, there’s always a way out. That’s what this site and the resources I offer are all about. Throughout this site, I share transparently all I’ve learned from over two decades of helping people and organizations. It hasn’t all been pretty, but it’s all been worth it!
There are four ways I think I can help you:
- Through my speaking.
- Through my books.
- Through my courses.
- Through personal coaching.
A little more about me…
I’m a pastor, speaker, strategist, and author. My wife and I founded Charlotte-based Dunamis Church and Ministries, Inc. in 2009. Today, Dunamis CLT is comprised of a dynamic mix of families from all walks of life. Some say I’m gifted with the ability to weave creativity, scholarship, theology, comedy, and practical everyday experience into my speaking. As a result, I have been fortunate to speak in churches, boardrooms, and auditoriums across the United States.
My life’s purpose also extends outside of the four walls of the church into my responsibilities as a healthcare IT strategist, growth consultant, author, and musician.
In the education vertical I serve as a member of the Samford University School of Arts Advisory Board.
In 2012 I authored Renovating the Mind: Experiencing God’s Truth Through Mental Renewal. My next book Goodbye Average: Achieve the Extraordinary Life You Deserve is forthcoming.
